Abstract: China´s WTO accession has inevitably influenced the country´s labor market. Based on empirical estimation and theoretical reasoning, the effects of China´s WTO accession have not significantly influenced employment in the agricultural industry, the automobile industry, the financial industry and total employment. Most obviously, the impact on employment in the textile and apparel industry has had a more positive influence.
